1. Deal the cards
Each player gets 9 cards: 3 face-down, 3 face-up, and 3 in hand. Play from hand to face-up, to blind cards to win!
2. Match or surpass
On your turn, play a card equal to or higher than the top of the pile, or take the whole pile into your hand. Special cards can be played anytime.
3. Get rid of everything
Empty your hand first, then play your face-up table cards, then your face-down cards, blind. First player out wins. Last one standing loses.

The game is easy, but winning is not. Once, you reach your face up cards, everybody can see them and will try to sabotage you. And once you think that's over, you'll have to play your last 3 cards blindly. Good luck!

A reimagined classic
In this modded version of Palace, also known as Shithead or Karma, we've rebuilt the game to be more intuitive for kids and more vengeful for everyone else:
- Simplified Card Hierarchy: cards now run 1 to 10 only, with no suits, colors, faces, or aces, so new players can pick it up in minutes.
- Redesigned Special Cards: Burn, Reset, and Ghost now have their own unique designs instead of numbers, so key plays are easy to spot at a glance.

Cards are made from 315 gsm paper, 7 by 10 cm, with varnish for easy shuffling.
They're splash proof but not fully water-proof. We would have to go full plastic and that's not very eco friendly.
